Danish Portishead-esque band IRAH are back with another dark pop single entitled 'Mirroring', out today on Tambourhinoceros. Although less ethereal and much more urgent-sounding than their debut 'Dimensions', the band continue their foray into experimental sounds by exploring the darker edges of music. There is a real cinematic feel to their work, as frantic percussion builds tension between drones of electronics. The harmonies are goosebump-inducing in places and the dramatic strings only accentuated these moments further. The second of two singles that have had us enthralled, 'Mirroring' is the perfect soundtrack to self-reflection. - SJ
